A Safe Night Out is our nationally recognized, multi-component program to safely manage nightlife and entertainment areas. We create a restaurant and bar accreditation model to improve operational standards, which improves compliance and reduces liability. We also teach municipal agencies to adopt multi-disciplinary and relationship-based approaches to achieving long-term outcomes that enhance safety and vibrancy.
Proactive Alliance Homeless Outreach & Engagement
Safe Night provides training and assessments in communities where people are experiencing homelessness. Safe Night has nationally recognized experts in the homeless outreach and engagement field.
Proactive Alliance - Problem-Oriented Policing (PA-POP)
In collaboration with the Arizona State University Center for Problem-Oriented Policing, Safe Night is proud to introduce Proactive Alliance - Problem-Oriented Policing (PA-POP). This new and innovative model and curriculum combines the skills of Proactive Alliance relationship-based policing with problem-oriented policing.
Safe Flight
The "Safe Flight" model is a specialized adaptation of our alcohol-related harm reduction model to meet the needs of the aviation and airport industry. It transitions A Safe Night Out's principles into the highly regulated and high-stress environment of airport terminals, focusing on the intersection of hospitality (bars/lounges) and flight safety.
Downtown Safety & Vibrancy
Managing the safety of downtown areas requires strategic management planning and a commitment from all stakeholders. Municipal agencies, business improvement districts, economic development offices, business owners, community groups, and community stakeholders are capable of problem-solving together when complex problems are accurately identified through data.
Relationship-Based Policing & Engagement
Our Proactive Alliance relationship-based approach is the foundation for establishing trust and relationships between municipal agencies and community stakeholders. Using methods adapted from evidence-based psychological counseling therapy concepts, municipal staff learn how to facilitate cooperation rather than demanding it.
Proactive Engagement in Traffic Enforcement
Safe Night provides technical assistance to State Highway Safety Offices (SHSO), State Departments of Transportation (DOT), and state and local law enforcement agencies to incorporate meaningful engagement to build trust and legitimacy with community stakeholders. Introducing innovation from other fields beyond law enforcement can shed light on new strategies that develop genuine relationships with the community and improve safety outcomes.

Department of Justice COPS Office CRI-TAC Training and Technical Assistance
